Each year has four seasons, each season - three months, where the first month has thirty one days, and the rest of them - thirty. At the end of each year and at the beginning of the next one there is one uncounted day. For a leap year, a day is added at the end of the sixth month. The week starts on Sunday.

The Bulgarian system of chronology begins with 5504 BC. When 2010 is added, we get the year 7514.

Each cycle of 120 years consists of two sixty-year cycles and one sixty-year cycle of five twelve-year Jupiterian cycles (Jupiterian, because one year on Jupiter equals twelve on the Earth). The cycles are divided into male and female ones so that they differ in the 120-year cycle set.

The year on Earth itself, i.e. one circumference around the sun, lasts 365 days, 5 hours, 48 minutes, and 45 seconds and a half. These 5.48.45.5 hours are skipped and a new year begins after the 365th day, but over time this accumulation starts to get notable and adjustments need to be made.

The FIRST adjustment is made every four years (after the fourth, eighth, twelfth year, etc.), because 4 x 5:48:45 hours make 23 hours and 15 minutes and so a new day is "granted".

For a period of twelve years (for the fourth, eighth and twelfth year) 2.15 hours are thus accumulated.

For a sixty-year cycle, 5 x 2.15 = 11.15 hours are accumulated.

After a 120-year cycle, the accumulated hours are already 22 and a half but the final year of the cycle is not given a leap day, although 1 hour and 30 minutes are missing.

After 2 cycles of 120 years, this 1 hour and 30 minutes gets 3 hours x 8 = 24 hours, which means that after eight double 120-year cycles (8 x 240 = 1920) a leap day is added to te twelfth year of the last Jupiterian cycle and the only remaining accumulation is the one of the half minute = 16 minutes.

The above calculations explain how the calendar is corrected and why thesecycles of 60 and 120 year are needed.

While reconstructing the calendar, Georgi Krastev took into account scriptures and buildings, but they have remained from a later period in which the calendar system is the same but used in accordance with the Constantinople Standard of chronology - 5508. Moreover, year 5508 was not the beginning of a 120-year period, so we get a discrepancy – year 2009 is thus 10 positions behind, which does not coincide with the position of Jupiter in the first star constellation after the winter solstice.

It might be indeed the case that the calendar was meant to be used only by an educated elite and that after their annihilation the systems were mixed up without any consultations with the Jupiterian calendar. One exception is, however, the dating of the house built by Kolyu Ficheto, who was aware of what he was doing, but was too careful not to give himself away (just as many others like him). Up to date you can hear different stories about the monkey (the dating) on the hose but no one has tried to associate it with the calendar. Georgi Krastev also notices the mismatch, but tries to tie dating to the ninth month, meaning that the house was probably completed in September.

The Bulgarian calendar counts 5504 years from the creation of the world. Now we have year 2009 + 5504 = 7513 : 12 = 626 with a residual of 1 which shows the location of the year in the 12-year Jupiterian cycle. This year Jupiter is in Capricorn, i.e. the master of the first constellation after the solstice, and this is the first year of the Bulgarian calendar of the pig. When the calculation above is applied, the house with the monkey built by Kolyu Ficheto in Turnovo can be dated to the ninth year and I think that he can be trusted.

This does not mean that this was the beginning of the calendar, but that this is when the final correction of the calendar is made, because if you think about it, you will remember that we, Bulgarians, often have a 40-day period in our customs and rituals, which is not some coincidence. This is due to the collective memory of another calendar of nine months with forty days each - http://balkan1.blog.bg/politika/2010/08/13/svastikata.590601

Later, this calendar was readjusted to contain twelve months with thirty days each -
http://balkan1.blog.bg/politika/2010/12/07/prystenayt-na-kubrat.646890
and finally from the five days at the end of the year we have one left (the leap day), after the other four are distributed among the four seasons.

In my explanations above I mention that the calendar of Jupiter should be consulted and in which constellation Jupiter is placed, but although I have left information and photos on the issue, some people still keep asking questions, because you cannot understand the calendar thoroughly without a certain volume of knowledge in astronomy.

FIRST - THE SUN can be seen from the Earth projected into a different star constellation every month.

SECOND - Jupiter is visible in a different constellation every year.

THIRD – the POINT OF SUNRISE during the vernal equinox (in the summer) moves in the opposite direction, since the Earth axis is moving in a direction opposite to the one which both the Earth and Jupiter spin, thus making the directory shown on this picture -

AND DEFINING THE ERAS by travelling 30 degrees (one constellation) IN 2160 YEARS.

These facts had been obtained after many years of observation and exactly this is the reason why they had created this calendar - to that they know the location of each planet no matter whether it is visible or not for the human eyes, due to an obstruction by the sun or by a cloud, or even due to the fact that a human being cannot live as long as to witness a whole cycle of 2160-years.

If a person manages to digest the presented astronomical facts, they would understand that
- the Sun can be seen projected in the constellation Sagittarius and this is the reason why the it occupies this place in the zodiac.
- Jupiter is in the second constellation after the winter solstice and this is the reason why the year is of the MOUSE in a cycle FIRE - according to the Bulgarian calendar, not because I like it better this way.
- our era is of the FISH, because the point of sunrise on the day of the vernal equinox is in the constellation PISCES (=fish) according to today"s constellation limits adopted in 1930.

ACCORDING TO THE MEDIA, THE CHINESE CALENDAR POSTULATES 2011 TO BE THE YEAR OF THE RABBIT. I DON"T FOLLOW THEM AND DO NOT KNOW WHY THEY DISTRIBUTE THIS INFORMATION, BUT IN FACT, AFTER THE CHINESE ZODIAC, NEXT YEAR SHOULD ALSO BE OF THE OX, THE ONLY DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE CHINESE AND THE BULGARIAN CALENDER IS POSITIONS OF THE MONKEY AND THE RAM.

SO I DARE TO SAY THAT THERE HAS BEEN A LOT OF RUBBISH INFORMATION IN THE MEDIA FOR QUITE A LONG TIME BUT THIS SHOULD NOT BE A PROBLEM FOR SOMEONE WHO IS AWARE OF THE FACTS BECAUSE WHAT IS ON EARTH SHOULD BE IN CORRESPONDENCE OF THIS, WHICH IS IN THE SKIES.
WE CAN"T JUST BABBLE ABOUT THINGS AND READJUST THEM AS WE MAY WISH WITHOUT TAKING INTO ACCOUNT WHAT IS SURROUNDING US.
